In 2020 Ford of Greece opened its first retail experience store within the largest shopping Mall in Greece, The Mall Athens. This new retail space offers visitors the opportunity to discover the latest car models and test drive vehicles. To enhance the customer experience, Ford of Greece has appointed bndb as an expert in designing unique "shopping experiences". For that bndb together with the design of a unique retail experience, created a phygital activation "WoW My Future Car", which invited children across the country to design the most imaginative car design and share it with their friends. The contest took place in a physical level within The Mall Athens and in a digital level via a dedicated web application. Each child was able to upload the draw, where visitors of The Mall Athens could vote for their favorite car. The contest has been a tremendous success; in less than a month “WoW My Future Car” attracted more than 10,000 entries and voters from Greece. The «phygital» activation helped Ford of Greece to draw the crowd inside the shopping center and create a more engaging and unique experience between the brand and the end consumer.
